Helping Dogs.
Helping People.
Honoring Those Who Made a Difference.
“The Helpful Hound Fund was created to celebrate and honor the remarkable people — and dogs — who have enriched our lives.”
Our Mission
The Helpful Hound Fund exists to support those navigating an economically challenging environment by:
Providing funds that keep dogs in their homes during times of financial hardship (medical and nutrition).
Supporting rescues near and far. While focused on hounds, our efforts are not exclusive to hounds.
Honoring the lives and legacies of those who inspired us to serve others.
Raising awareness about hounds and how dogs can play a role in supporting our communities.
Making a difference might mean education, nutrition, medical care and/or helping our mental health with therapy dog visits.
